The chemistry in our GEN III LSE lithium ion cells is an evolution of our GEN II cells which were introduced in the 1990’s. The enhancements to the chemistry provide increased capacities, improved capacity retention, higher average discharge voltages and longer life. Our GEN III LSE cell construction is unchanged from that of our GEN II cells which has the benefit of maintaining our proven manufacturing process. The GEN III LSE cells include a version optimized for energy density and a version optimized to handle high current and power requirements.
